Daniel Ghaffarian
Founder and Team Lead
Daniel Ghaffarian is the founder of Kian Astoria Group and a real estate professional with RE/MAX Galaxy, serving buyers, sellers, and investors throughout Virginia and Maryland. With eight years of experience, Daniel has built his business around the belief that trust is the foundation of every successful real estate relationship. His clients receive honest guidance, clear communication, and strategic advice grounded in their individual goals—not pressure to complete a transaction.
With a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Virginia Tech and a master's degree in Business Analytics from the University of Virginia, Daniel brings a highly analytical and solutions-oriented mindset to real estate. Whether evaluating a property, structuring an offer, negotiating terms, or working through an unexpected obstacle, he approaches each decision with careful analysis and practical judgment.
Daniel's experience includes residential and commercial real estate, new construction, rental-property management, out-of-state investments, and 1031 exchanges. Having personally invested in and managed rental properties, he understands real estate from both the client and ownership perspectives.
Having grown up in Northern Virginia, Daniel is deeply familiar with the region serving clients across the Virginia and Maryland markets. He also speaks Farsi.
Daniel's greatest inspiration comes from his wife, Kathy, and their son, Kian—the namesake of Kian Astoria Group. They are the reason he approaches his work with integrity, purpose, and a long-term commitment to the people he serves.
